| I have a Mazda MPV that for weeks now was making a finger in the fan noise. I called around and shops all stated that they would have to change the water pump, timing bet and the tensionors. Well we did it ourselves. We match up the timing marks correctly and everything but now it just turns over but won't fire. We change the spark plugs and there is still no spark. Need to know if the timing could still be off for it to have no spark or do i need to change the ignition coil or distributor. |

You need to take a test light and see if the coil is getting power to it. If isn't getting power, replace the coil. | |
