Research Designs

For each of the following problems suggest a research design and justify your answer.

1. To identify revenues generated by a county sales tax first adopted in 1966 and increased periodically since then.

2. To learn whether changes in state penalties for drunk driving were associated with fewer drinking-related fatalities.

3. To see whether consolidating purchasing by the City of Chicago decreased costs of buying supplies.

*Remember, there could be more than one right answer--but you have to logically justify your answer!
