Why re-release Faith In Chaos?
1. It is being distributed. Thus, A new release/distribution date must be set.
2. People who follow music on the internet may already have Faith In Chaos, but the rest of the IP fans from way back in 1993 aren't even aware of a new record. Grim Reality sold 120,000 copies out of stores not the internet. The internet is a valuable source to reach our audience, but it is limited.
3. To keep the music up to date and current, the album is being released with new tracks added.
4. There was always an intention to re-release the record. The limited edition was a test market print only.
5. For those who bought Faith In Chaos already, consider that you got an advance taste of the record.
6. There will be a new record out soon after the re-release, but it will be nothing like Faith in Chaos. It won't even be considered a "horrorcore" record. If you consider Insane Poetry "horrorcore" then your in for a huge shock with the follow-up album. To give a proper seperation between the past, present and future of I.P. we have to present an album that ends one chapter and begins another.
7. No one said Grim Reality was being re-released. We may or may not re-release that record.
8. Finaly, Faith In Chaos is too powerfull a record to let come and go with out notice. Our plans will be self evident as the new year draws closer.
All the TRUE I.P. fans will appreciate what is put into the re-release. Our intention is to provide top quality product. The fans who have supported so far have helped I.P. progress on an independant basis, however, it is now time to take it to the next level.
Hope that clears a few things up............. |
