I'm surprised, Daddy-O; you're usually fair-minded but I sense you were simply in a bad mood when you wrote this post. Maybe you're a Yankee fan who expects to be world champs EVERY year?
Ridge a one-year wonder? Hopewell Valley fading fast? The shore area teams never being real? C'mon, Daddy-0, give the up-and-coming teams some credit for, well, being just that: up-and-coming!
Not everyone can be a Moorestown or a Shawnee, but there are other, great programs in New Jersey who, one day, may be the next state champions. Summit have been state champs, and WMC gets to the foot of the throne on an annual basis. Ridge and Hopewell Valley, and SCT teams like Jackson and Ocean are right there, in the second-tier of talent, and will continue to improve. The rest of the shore conference with teams like Shore Regional and Manasquan are committed enough to be there as well; it's just a question of hard-work experience...give them a break and some time.
