I would like to inform all of the lacrosse fans in the Garden State of the New Jersey Storm, a professional lacrosse team to begin play later this year at the CAA!!!! If there are any persons interested in joining in the NJSTORMCENTER, which is the official fan club of the New Jersey Storm, please feel free to email me. To find out more about the team, who is owned by Jersey's own, Jayson Williams, log onto their website at www.njstorm.com well, i hope to hear from you lacrosse maniacs, and have fun this summer. December is just around the corner!!!
Moorestown was the dominant team and it was a matter of who was going to be second.
A few surprises along the way. Ridge had some players, Shawnee rebounded to close the season out strong with a victory over WMC (who has got to be disappointed maybe not as much as West Essex who was a borderline Imposter).
Mountain Lakes and Ridgewood proved to be imposters. . Hopewell was one of the scrappy teams from the Central Jersey region along with Lawrenceville, Stuart Day and Bridgewater.
Summit didn't have all of the talent that they usually have but were still consistent. Columbia got off on the wrong foot and never got their act together. Hunterdon Central was simply bizarre (with the Florida thing)
Next year may be West Essex's year in the North. Bridgewater will be very tough in Central Jersey . Shawnee looks strong along with the Moorestown re-load. WMC is due for a down year, it really doesn't matter because they will fold in the states anyway. Columbia is toast along with Mountain Lakes. The Preps will be weak unless they get some PG's.
dON'T FORGET THE RANDOLPH RAMS. WE SPANKED HOPE(LESS) VALLEY. WE BEAT COLUMBIA. WE LOST TO WMORRIS BY 2. WE SPANKED WEST ESSEX. wHAT ABOUT US. WE MIGHT NOT HAVE THE SAME TEAM BUT WE GOT THE SAME HEART DON'T YOU COUNT US OUT FOR A SECOND. WE'RE COMING FOR MOORESTOWN WHO WE LOSS TO BY 3. AND DELBARTON IS SO F.... DEAD. AND SAME WITH LAKES AND RIDGEWOOD...

i like Moorestown, camden catholic, collingswood, and manasquan in the South B final 4, Collingswood and Moorestown the final 2 with Moorestown winning the bracket In South A, I like Washington Township, Ocean, Eastern and Shawnee as the final 4 with Washington and Shawnee as the final 2 and Shawnee winning the bracket. In North A I like West Morris, Columbia, Bridgewater and Hunterdon Central as the final 4 and West Moris and Central as the final 2 and West Morris winning the bracket. In North B, I like Summit, Ridge, West Essex and the Lakers in the Final 4 with West Essex and Ridge advancing to the Final 2 and Ridge winning the bracket.
Moorestown will win the whole thing I just don't know which a plays which b or a vs a and b vs. b to get thru to the finals. I haven't followed the rules that closely.
I'm not a fan of summit's at all (in fact I'm a WMC fan), but I'm just curious why you picked Ridge and WE over Summit. I haven't been following this season too closely, but doesn't summit look good this year?
ridge is fast so they can get into their Offense before Summit can set up their team defense. I think they have 3 offensive players that Summit doesn't match up with very well, besides their goalie is a touch better than the tandem that plays for Summit.
WE plays a good game as well, and there are 2 players on that team that create mis-matches for the defense.
I am also a fan of WMC I think that ANY team looks slow against us. Summit is not as fast as they have been, but their skills keep them in the game. They make good adjustments to help defray their lack of speed. They are the only team to have a lead on us at any time during the season (by five goals at the half).
West Essex and Summit will always battle hard-it's a great rivalry. Summit won the first contest and they tied the second contest. WE switched some offensive kids to defense (two of their best) to assure a tie or win. Summit was also missing two starters.
Ridge is scary-their speed will be tough for anyone to stop. If their skills were a little bit better, they would give WMC a good run.
Can't count out ML, either. They are self-assured and play up to their competition. North B is certainly the competitive bracket this year.
Good luck to all teams-hope to see a north team in the finals against WMC!
Now that ML is out and Ridge squeaked by Montville, any revisions on predictions?
WE will crush Chatham today to play Hopewell Valley. I think that game will be somewhat close, but WE will prevail by 3-4 goals.
Summit will play Ridge AT Ridge. That's a big factor. If Summit can control the center and 3H, they have a good shot. If not, Ridge will roll over them by 4 goals.
