Follow coach Lisa Miller's Orangewomen at LAX Net. Her program is going into it's 4th year and last year they were in NCAA Tournament and finished #9 in US.
Wow-you don't have to be so nasty. I tried the link you suggested and there were no rosters available. I wasn't personally asking YOU for information, since it seems to be such a bother. Attitude adjustment needed!
I'm a Coordinator for the Cold Spring Harbor/Huntington Youth Lacrosse program
here on Long Island. Each year we take a bunch of kids from our program down to
the National Championships over the Memorial Day weekend to see the games and
to play in a local Youth Tourney or set up games with some local Clubs. As you
know, this year the Championships are at Rutgers. We have a good program and
most of our kids have been playing since 1st or 2nd grade. The boys coming down
would be 4th, 5th and 6th graders and usually we have enough participation to have
two teams in each grade level. The last several years we have played in a
Tournament held in Towson on the Sunday of the Championship weekend.
Do you know of any plans for a local Youth Tourney or Jam that weekend. If not,
do you know of any local Clubs, possibly yourselves, that might be interested in
hosting some Youth games? If so, please contact us at cshhlax@yahoo.com
1. Moorestown (nobody is touching them...again
2. Shawnee
3. West Morris
4. Columbia
5. Summit
6. West Essex
7. Hunterdon Central
8. Mountain Lakes
9. Cherokee
10. Eastern
2 and 3 may be switched (they will scrimmage this year). Moorestown and Shawnee play each other early in the season, then play nobody for the entire rest of the season. Should be interesting! Spots 4, 5, 6 and 7 can easily change around.
It is very hard to disagree with your picks. I watched Moorestown in the state finals last year, at Rutgers, and they were awesome.
I don't have the pleasure of seeing the seasoned programs like Moorestown, Shawnee, et. al., but there is no doubt they're way ahead of some of the newer Lacrosse programs, like those in the Shore Conference. Since I live in Ocean County, I monitor the Shore Conference. I Look for last year's surprise, mere 2nd year Lacrosse players from Jackson Memorial, to be strong again, in this only their 3rd campaign, but I am not sure they can duplicate the 16-0 conference and 16-2 overall mark of last year. If Jackson can progress farther in the Shore Conference Tournament (they were upset by TR East in the quarterfinals, a team they'd beaten twice in the regular season), and if they can win one state tournament game (they were beaten 12-8 by Cherry Hill East, one of the seasoned schools), then this coming year will be a wholehearted success. All of the Toms River teams will be strong, as always, but North, from what I understand, graduated a lot of seniors so we'll see. My guess is they'll do just fine. Ali Jarden is gone from Red Bank Catholic, but they, too, I think, will still find a way to win a majority of their games.
Last year one of the Toms River schools won a state tournament game, the first time a Shore Conference team won a state tournament game. As the Shore Conference gains yearly experience they should begin to win a few more. That being said, there remains little doubt that the Shore Conference teams are a loooooooooonnnnnnnnng way from being, or beating, a Moorestown, etc. But the games are fun, highly-competitive, and the clean, flowing sport of women's Lacrosse remains beautiful to watch.
I like the Top 3 and the Top 10 in general, but HC is stronger than Wessex and Summit. It will come down to Columbia, West Morris and HC in the North. Collingswood may be stronger than Eastern but I can't argue like Daddy- O can. Only Daddy -O knows what Daddy -O knows.
I actually agree with everything except your statement about HC and Summit. HC is better than Wessex, but I think HC and Summit will be very competitive this year and can't call it either way.

If anyone knows of a winter lacrosse clinique or team i can join to help me train for the spring school team please contact me. 1-732-698-1470 and/or e-mail me.
I'D REALLY APPRECIATE IT IF YOU COULD SEND ME ANY INFO ABOUT WINTER LAX IN NJ FOR A HIGH SCHOOL BEGINNER.
There's a new sports arena in Elizabeth (near IKEA) that is running all kinds of indoor programs, including girls high school lacrosse. Give them a call John Dudley at 1 877 REX PLEX ext. 236. I think the fee is $125 for an individual and $1400 for a team. Good luck!

Not sure where you live, but there is an indoor, beginner's Lacrosse season about to begin at Good Sports in Wall Township. My daughter was a beginner last year, too, a freshman, and playing in the league helped her make her high school varsity team. Good luck in both your search and the coming season!
I'm a 14/f, going into my freshman year in high school. I'm starting at a new school that has Lacrosse, and though I've never played or watched it, I'm trying to read up on it because I'd like to play. Any advice for a new player or links for help? I'd appreciate so much!
