Oh My, it may be a long shot but I thought I would try to comunicate with anyone that lived on Maurice Rd in the early 1960's. I went to Leabeck school until 1965 at which time I immigrated to Canada. Names that come to mind:

Mr. & Mrs Tom Day, Richard (); Margaret(kids Mark Ballini & Sally Ballini); Leela Methai; Douglas Steptoe (school friend) - Mr Wilson(Salvation army church); Rosemary; Eve Angline.

The Mormans owned a store on Maurice road until moving away somewhere around 1963-64.

These are just a few people that I remember. 40 years tends to take a toll on the memory so forgive me for forgetting someone else that may recognize this description.

I will check back on this site from time to time to see if there are any responses.

I'm an ex Canveyite. Left in '67. Went to Furtherwick Park School and had musical group called the Trolls. Drummer - Stephen Prout, Guitar - Vic Collins and bass - Michael Langridge... and myself - guitar . Love to track down the bunch.
