her mother was Nan Dover .. Ann Dover..Was wondering if anyone knows of her as I suspect she left school in about early 50's

I was at William Read afew years later than you but you might remember my older half brother who was there at about the same time as you.
His name is Brian Gowan,and he used to hang around with Johnny Ward,Sonny groves,Janet Groves,Terry Moore,the Bines Bros,Dobi grub etc.
We lived in Urmond Rd

I think Janet Groves still lives on the Island but Audrey Hunt moved to Erith in Kent about 40 odd years ago. I last saw her there in the sixties. Her sister Georgina married Len Cook and they live on a farm in Fobbing
