I lived on Canvey at 6 Barbara Ave. I went to Long Rd School and left Furtherwick Park in 1971. Some teachers I remember:- Long Rd School - Mrs. Hat, Mrs. Taylor, Mr. Taylor (always giving the slipper)Mr.Benjemin. - Furtherwick Park - Fred of course. Mrs. West, Mr. Vickers, Mr. Light,Mr. Parry. I was there when they built the sports hall and painted all the names on the walls and when the pool was built.
I was also in the ATC and Canvey Cycling Club.
Some names I remember, John Pamment, Mark Coleman, Richard Ashdown, Peter Shelford, Michael Burridge, Julie Petherbridge, Susan Dunn, Valerie Fischer, Dawn Gladman, Christina Hodder. I remember lots of others, but only their first names.
I would like to find any old acquaintances or hear from anyone.
I now live in Canada.

I don't know if you remember me, I went out with one of the Dand twins Elaine and used to hang around with John Pammant, Mike Pearce, Peter Nicholls, Roy Goodwin, David Shaftain,(hammer thrower) Sid Mitchell,(rugby player) Toney leeming(rugby player) also Kevin morris & Jan Ilston (a year older than us)and loads more I just cant remember right now. John Pammant is in America and I email him on regular occations, I'm still blood brother to Mike Pearce ha ha and still great friends with Kevin Morris and Jan Ilston,I spent the weekend with them all a couple of weeks ago.
I live in Fife Scotland now but still drive down every couple of months or so to see them all.
Oh did you know our Ruby team only lost one game in the 5 years we were at Furtherwick park school and that was only because everyone started to drink and smoke in the 5th year. and the record has never been beaten. not bad for our year eh.
Anyway if you remember me
