The Oneil/Nama Law on Judges is Good for the Nation

May 10 2012 at 11:23 AM

For those who have stood against the judicial conduct bill are bunch of clowns and hypocrites driven by emotions and heart beats. What that made this law to surface is a result of prejudgment being imposed by the most highest court. Don’t be misled by the pros and cons of people who are contesting this to their advantage to score political points during this time when the elections are only days away. The judiciary right now is very corrupt, downright stupid and can’t accept criticism for the sake of maintaining the courts integrity. The CJ to remain very silent on the allegations or issues surrounding him is despicable, deplorable and completely beyond the pale. The honourable thing is for him to resign, but that is not the case anymore. In a democracy, a government is made in Parliament and not outside of Parliament. The court misinterpreted the constitution in its ruling and this how the politcal mass stated with the judiciary. Common sense must prevail for a country to move forward by making and adapting radical changes, thus the timing of the bill is unprecedented but good for the nation.
