| Who will enforce the UN monitors' recommendations, if any? When was the last time the UN successfully stopped a war or conflict?
Our leaders often spit out the overused 'PNG is a sovereign nation' mantra to carry on their corrupt activities barring all outside intervention.
We are fixed to crash by our own ignorance, greed and corruption. Until the heart and mind is changed towards a responsible and caring leadership, PNG is heading for doom and when that happens the UN will look the other way.
We are our own saviours or enemies depending on the collective leadership we have. |
