Corruption is real and evident.....exposing it on national televison could be a way to shame and expose those individuals. Any comment......the letter appeared in the National today
Give local touch to EMTVs current affairs
EMTV programmes such as Tok Piksa and the Sunday news commentary are good for the countrys development.
However, Tok Piksa could be described as a vehicle used by politicians to politicise their work. Its time EMTV adopts a programme similar to Ray Martins Current Affairs aired by the Channel 9 network in Australia.
Martins programme, however, deals with issues irrelevant to our nation.
Nevertheless, its interesting to see the positive impact such programmes have on an affluent and developed nation such as Australia.
If Ray Martin can do it in Australia, why not John Eggins?
We cannot continue to deny the fact that corruption does not exist in PNG and portray a false image. Its time we swallow our pride and start the mechanisms needed to rescue our nation.
EMTV as the prime television network can take an aggressive approach by introducing our own current affairs programme. There are many issues of local and nation interest.
