I don't know what it means to you but being a Party Leader in the case of MP Kimisopa is very important, it will play a major role in the formation of new govt, lobbying for key portfolios etc and that will reflect on the kind of leadership quality Eastern Highlanders can produce. I think Bire as a United Party leader has shown that E. Highlanders are not that bad, for far too long our MPs have been slumbering in Waigani doing their own things and not impacting on the national scene. Anyway other intending candidates have potentials to be elected for Goroka too. Only the voters have the mandate, so we just have to wait and see the result come July.
