Yeah it does. It also sounds like those who overthrew the communist governments, the Philippinos who overthrew Marcos, students the world over who have given their lives for peace and civil society. Revolutions and wars for independence are little different than what PNG needs to regain its own independent from the stranglehold of a few and how many thousands have sacrificed their lives that others in the future could have more opportunities?
Yes, the strategy is used by Al Qaeda too so everyone uses the strategy to different ends.
The point is that the strategy is the only way you finally get change. Cowards never change society, but revolutionaries do.
Mandela was imprisoned for 28 years.
Gandhi and many others gave their lives.
Mandela, Gandhi and other revolutionaries promoted peaceful means but their followers were subjected to huge amounts of violence before victory.
