      In recognition of the pokies industry's contribution to the PNG Government revenue, Parliament has recently passed a new bill to create a new ministry. Ministry of Pokies has been created & the new minister is Hon. James Lagea, Member for Kagua Erave.

      Hon James Lagea crossed floors from Somare camp to join O'Neill camp leaving the Acting SHP Governor post & moving to accept the new colourful ministry. In a press release, Hon Lagea stated that he is well vested with broad knowledge of the pokies industry as he spends most of his time playing pokies.
