PM for Highlands Region UNLIKELY !!!September 23 2006 at 1:33 PM | Anonymous |
| Ipatas puts his hands up for the PMs Job and he is asking Don Polye to join him or fight him in Enga Politics. Wingti knows that and he is getting closer to Ipatas to make sure the court system should fix Ipatas before the 2007 general election. O'niel does not show any support to Ipatas nor the other Highlands MPs.Jammie Maxtone Gramme has recently declared to lead a Political Party and also vie for PMs job too and Paias Wingti disagrees totally. AS long Paias Wingti is around the PMs job for the highlands region must be for him or never.
Therefore it is concluded that PM's job will go to another Region and not Highlands Region. |

| Next PM should be Bart Phillemon | September 24 2006, 5:51 AM |
I'm an highlander but speaking as a Papua New Guinean, I would go for Bart Phillemon and if Arnold Amet is interested in politics would be the next, and the third would be Peter Barter. Rabbie Namaliu also looks descent to as well for the Prime Minister.

| Arnold Amet | September 24 2006, 2:24 PM |
Angra, the other day Arnold Amet came to talk to us here at one of NZ university and he mentioned that he was going to run for Madang regional. He seems to be a very straight and honorable man and I hear Peter Barter is endorsing him.
However, which partry is he going for? The way I see it he is going to be a NA candidate. This makes me a little doubtful as NA will definetly loose in the elections as according to history o fruling pasrties failures to return aftre elections, and also the instability that NA is experiencing at the moment.
I think Amet would do well to team up with Bart Philemon. |

Madang man, we don't care whether he's a goilala, sepik, Tari or Karkar but he has got the quality and that's what we look at. |

| PM Post Again for Sepiks after 2007 | September 27 2006, 3:47 AM |
other parts of PNG could try for the PM post, but again...its the Sepik's business of the day. Sepiks being the pillars of politics in PNG, whether in Opposition or Government, the saying goes" haus tambaram blong Sepik, em political house for the Sepiks"

I am also an highlander, what is the point of appointing another fellow highlander. When we are best known for Chief killing, rude and abxious behavior. The only the thing the a-hole is going to do is rob us blind, and buy his family a Palace in the U.S. or Britain! |
