Who will be the financiers for Bart & New Generation Party

December 21 2006 at 6:02 PM
Something smells bad

Yes, there is an investigation still being carried out to investigate the finance department. Preminary findings has pointed fingers to Paraka Lawyers and Tadius Kambane, the Sepik Highway Trust Account, the Jubillee university and the millions of funds that has gone missing. Tadius and Paraka are now doing anything to back up Bart & New Generation Party to cover their suspisious transactions and cover up.
Over to you PNG.

Bart is the best yet

December 22 2006, 12:03 AM

All payments to Paraka lawyers were spelled out so if you have anything that needs clarification, please point it out.

Don't bring Bart into this picture because you have some space in your brain that needs filling. Don't think that Somare will want to have a powerful person like Bart against him. Bart has respect both in png and externally (overseas).
The current government will do anything to supress Bart but that will fail. NA has not released him from the party(NA) and that alone tells us that Bart is a bigger player.
Let us not jump our balls into this case. You be part of the game to know how its played.

Bart/Kambanei Combination in NGP Stinks

January 23 2007, 4:49 PM

Tutumang is pro-NGP. However, the arguments to justify Paraka Lawyers are flimsy and cannot hold water. The findings of the Department of Justice Inquiry and the Finance Inquiry will reveal to the dark sides of Bart Philemon and Thaddeus Kambanei.

The continuation of Bart and Thaddeus with NGP is by default. Their management of the Finance Ministry and Department deprived many children of PNG were robbed of health, education and other basic services as the both of them were not able to control the massive amounts of fraudulent payments of public monies. Their combination is a scam. One has to examine the manner in which Jubilee University and Paul Paraka Lawyers benefited to comprehend the magnitude of official corruption.

Bart hasn’t got the balls to fight corruption. His combination with Thaddeus is a recipe for disaster. NGP is doomed in the June elections.

Re: Who will be the financiers for Bart & New Generation Party

Obviously there are certain elements out there that are threatened by Bart running the 2007 elections and the popularity of the New Generation Party. What's the first thing a person does when threatened? They try to discredit whoever it is they are threatened by. This is PNG's chance to prove itself to the world.

We need good leaders like Bart who will take PNG in the direction it should have been going 30 years ago. I think you should look hard at yourself and decide whether your heart for PNG or just your own selfish corrupt needs.

Just and observation

The question is where is Bart going to get his fundings from to fund his party NGP ? The Party is eyeing the PMs job and will fight the NA on the same scale (Millions of Kina) but where are the fundings comming from ? Is it going to be from Paraka & Kambanei ? Yes cover the PNG situation (the big picture) where Bart was at the right place at the right time (Finance Minister) and not the right person as Rabbie could have done the same if he was the finance minister. It was the NA government that provided the situation for the healtier export receipts where Bart got all his glory from. Any way who will fund Bart ?

All those fundings for Bart & (NGP)

December 27 2006, 9:22 AM

Well wind the clock back, the Aussies were humilliated by Governor Wenge by the court action which saw the Aussie Police withdrew. The Aussie saw the their chances by screwing Luther by secretly backing Sinclair and by backing him they will also back the NGP. rest assure that aside other funders as mentioned above the Aussie secret service will put their yes master png leaders to persue their regional interest.

Despite negative comments made about Bart the people of Morobe know that with a strong and determined team backing him he can bring Morobe back onto the map. As a province Morobeans keep suffering under the hands of Wenge and his cronies - changes will be made for the better with Bart and the NGP. I as many other Morobeans look forward to the day!

You may be pleasantly surprised to find that a genuine committed political party may not need absolute millions to actaully be in the running for leadership change in PNG.
Anyway, wouldn't it be possible for them (NGP)to do some fundraising to raise cash? After all, the last NA dinner in Moresby boasted of raising K1.4million.Interestingly,when the EMTV cameras pan the crowds at all of these fundraisers we see a room full of empty tables.I'm not suggesting that the tickets are not sold but I am suggesting that business houses do buy tables of tickets to be "seen to be supportive" when actually their support is empty and they are just going through the motions of paying homage in a patronising manner.
With the kind of swell of ground support that seems to be with NGP,I'll bet that any fundraiser they hold has a genuine Full House.
Gone are the days when political parties gave a lot of financial support to their candidates and I don't for one moment believe that NGP will be throwing around money, nor do I feel they will have to.Let us see!

After 15 years and Bart will fix Lae up ?

December 31 2006, 9:57 AM

Cut this crap, all NGP officials and Bart are riding high up thinking that Bart will be the next PM. Hey guys wake up I think Bart hasn't done his home work, first of all he has to win his seat basck and how? the question lays with Bart himself. I think Sir Bob will be the next Parliament Leader, Bart won't make it back and thats the fact, the people are not longlong any more. If Wenge is smart like Ian Ling. (New Ireland) Bart would have been sacked a long time ago for non-attendence of Tutumang Session but Wenge needed his own crowd in the Tutumang to finance his own agendas without objections. So Bart & Luther shares the same level of neglegence of Lae City, they both will go no matter what, people are not stupid anymore. As for Meri Wau yes you are correct the NA's are corrupt with the asians and the 1.4 million kina as mentioned is just corrupt money making its way legally through the fundraising even, I geve you 10/10 for picking that up.

Thanks for your encouragement.I am with New Generation Party and it is not a party that has a massive amount of money to throw around stupidly. The first item we will deal with when and if( maybe I should be more positive here but don't want to sound like a big-head) we get in to Gov't will be the fight against corruption, beginning with the re-opening of the Forestry Issue.
I believe that our Party policies have been written with total consideration to making PNG a better place for its people and to cleaning up a lot of things that some may hope are past history.I hope that a lot of people will cast their vote along party lines as our candidates have also been chosen carefully.

You're the one who has the inside track on these things not us. If you don't have the good sense (or enough curiosity or maybe enough guts) right now to ask your party leader Bart Philemon some probing questions about the massive kickback scandal that seems to have occured while he was at Finance as well as get this response to what his relationship is with the unscrupulous lawyers then obviously you aren't going to be of much use in the next government in uncovering and dealing with Waigani's dirty deeds once and for all. You might be elected but you'll be the same as an empty chair in attacking the high level corruption yet it is only high level people such as MPs who are in the best position to do that. You obviously disagree but I can't see how replacing a corrupt current PM with a different PM who has also gotten his money corruptly is any sign of progress for PNG.

AOG Jubilee Uni will finance NGP

January 20 2007, 9:22 AM

Peter Wararu is definitely gone. We have Gabriel Dusava to win the Yangoru Sausia seat for PAP.

Then bikpela chief blo Sepik regional is also 50-50. Go Allan Bird, contest the elections and we shall dump the Somare dynasty.

Once the father Somare is gone, there'll be so much trouble in NA. Somare has the big man's head where he thinks Authur will replace him and lead NA. They havent realised that Patrick Pruaitch feels like he is the god father of Parliament.

There'll be a big political fight in parliament between these two to see who gains the upper hand. Every politician dreams of being a PM one day and I have no doubt that Patrick Pruaitch and Authur Somare have these desires deep down the bottom of their hearts.

Remember that Pruaitch is the NA henchman and Somare Jnr. is the strategist. When the Chief bows out in disgrace if Allan Bird wins or he retires/regional seats abolished ... all the contained desires of the henchman and strategist will come to the fore.

Bart Philemon was smart to have left when he knew that he'd never lead NA. One thing I dont like about the New Generation party: "Why is Bart Philemon keeping Thadeius Kambanei in the NGP team?". NGP is as good as gone with Thadeius in there. This guy, a trustee to the Sepik Highway Trust account with some K30 million in there and the only signatory to this account, has many question marks hanging over his head. He hasnt accounted for this money yet? I tell you what, PAC will dig all this **** out and you wouldnt believe that about half of this money had gone to AOG Jubilee University. This University is a scheme as Thadieus and all the trustees of this University the so called grand AOG pastors can dip in for personal application of these funds.

Thadieus also brought all the East Yangoru's into the Finance department and there you go ... a whole lot of **** ...

Even the smartest of people in politics are recycling the same old people in their teams. No wonder we're going around in circles and wouldnt break free from the shackles of corruption...

We want people in high public offices to have the greatest regard and respect for good governance, transparency and accountability.

NGP has got it all wrong !

January 20 2007, 1:39 PM

Allan Pisin from sepik has distance himself from New Generation Party announcement of him being one of their candidate for the East Sepik regional so who in NGP made the claim.
Allan for one knows that both NA & NGP are as corrupt as each other they both shared the big pie (Finance Department) but Bart and his secretary Thadius dug deeper then the Somares and with the millions behind them they thought they would take over the PM's job but they all got the boot. After the elections NA & NGP bosses will be asked to answer for the missing millions. Here is one for a start, K500 million went missing under Barts nose and it all linked up to Thadius K. so candidates like Donna from Bulolo think twice before talking about corruption you might be in the heart of it. The investigation into finance department is properly timed as it will reveal some interesting things about Bart and Thadius and will greatly destroy New Generation Party, NGP may be destroyed before the polling period. Good Luck everybody and all the NGP.

Why Bart can't distance Thadeius Kambanei ?

January 20 2007, 1:46 PM

Come on Papua New Guines, Thadeius Kambanei does the dirty job for Bart he deals and cut into the same basket that Bart feeds on and Bart needs him to finance the New Generation Party. All candidates running under his party will benefit from the money that was stolen from the finance department ! Shame ! Shame ! Shame !

Gabriel Dusava a savior?

January 21 2007, 9:34 AM

I seem to recall that he was on the take during his years as Secretary of Foreign Affairs. Maybe you've forgotten his run in with the leadership tribunal or maybe you feel that corrupt and convicted people are the best possible candidateds to be PNG leaders.

Gabriel Dusava Ousted Once - twice shy

January 22 2007, 6:46 AM

Gabriel Dusava was ousted by the courts once. His misdeed was in him authorising an advance of K60000 to himself which was K50 000.00 beyond the legal limit when he was Secretary for Foreign Affairs Department. Besides being ousted by the courts after having won the 1998 general elections, he had also repaid this amount in full to the department of Foreign Affairs towards end of 1997. He was the runner up in the 2002 elections and also runner up in the 2005 Yangoru-Sausia bi-elections after a leadership tribunal found the former member, Bernard Hagoria guilty of directing all district grants into his personal account for personal use.

In the 2005 bi-election, Peter Waruru won that election and again Gabriel Dusava was the runner-up. However, this time around West Yangoru LLG, Numbo LLG, Sausia LLG are fully backing Mr. Dusava. That leaves only East Yangory LLG to vote for Peter Wararu na olgeta pride man blong East Yangoru.

1997 -1998 -2002 -2005 -2007
Misdeed-Winner-Runnerup-Runnerup-Winner

No one is taking heed of PAP's numbers. It is currently the second largest party in parliament, only second to NA. It's been very silent at the political front and I believe it will have the numbers to form the next government. Gabriel Dusava would provide some of the much needed steel and direction to this party, headed by Gabriel Kapris of Maprik. Tonny Aimo of Ambunti/Drekikir is also a party member. Gabriel Dusava is an enemy of the NA and would be good to have him in PAP so Gabriel Kapris is not controlled by NA's Sepik Mafia team of Somare Snr, Somare Jnr, Patrick Pruaitch and Ben Semri (count out Peter Wararu because he is not coming back to parliament).

Lik lik tok pisin igo long Mangi West Yangoru. You talking about you fellow brothers as if you are a different race all together. "The East Yangoruan" or "West", doesn't really matter all you Yangoruans are one.

From my observations Yangoruans are clever people but they somtimes abuse there god given cleverness. It's just a few Yangoruans in Top places like Thaddius Kambanei that spoils the image of you Yangoruans. Thats the power of the Media for you.
