Hehehehe. You lamers, didn't you know? The evidence just kind of disappeared. Thats how we run things in Waigani folks. Get used to it.
Maladina discharged
THE Waigani District Court has discharged former National Provident Fund (now NASFUND) chairman Jimmy Maladina of corruption, conspiracy, and misappropriation charges in relation to a land deal in Waigani.
Magistrate Jimmy Tapat discharged Mr Maladina of the charges due to insufficient evidence in the police file.
Mr Tapat also ordered Mr Maladina’s K3000 bail money be refunded. Police had alleged Mr Maladina had bribed former Lands Minister Viviso Seravo with K49,598.49 for him to exercise his power to allocate land in Waigani, known as section 429 Allotment 2, Hohola, to company Waim No.92 Pty Ltd.
It was further alleged Mr Maladina had conspired with former Land Board chairman Ralph Guise and Mr Seravo to reduce the Waigani land’s sale price of K2,866,000 to K1,457,646.
The land was publicly sold to Waim No.92 for K1,417,643.69 and police had further alleged Mr Maladina had applied these monies to his own use.

That guy stole my hard earning saving in the NPF and is living luxurious in Aussie. The Aust Govt can't detained him and transfer him to face trail in PNG.
But they want Moti to be hanged and demand justice from PNG Govt, how silly this is,for us PNG to bend down to Aust request, the funds used in the inquiry should be used to restock the Hospital with drugs or build new aid post in the remote place of PNG, it was a waste to satisfy these Aussie crap demad for justice

I agree with you completely, we should only pursue those who Australia doesn't point out are getting away with it. The Chief should be found free and clear of anything he did with regard to Moti since the Australians said something about it.
If I were Jimmy Maladina, I'd rush over to Canberra and see if Canberra could demand that Jimmy be brought to justice. Then people like you in PNG would scream that we shouldn't be catering to Aussie demands and that we should ignore them just because they made a stink. Then PNG would definitely do nothing, saying that Australia was interfering in PNG's affairs and PNG would definitely let Jimmy go free!!!! Free!!!! Free!!!!

You are educated people yet not a single one of you seems to have a clue what you could do with your own energies and resources to make sure Jimmy Maladina is brought to justice. Why is it that that people in other developing countries with all their problems, don't show the same kind of paralysis that we do in PNG? One would think we were living under a Saddam Hussein type government the way we throw up our hands.
The Post Courier was innovative in their Bring Jimmy home campaign and I was involved in that. The question is now what do you, the educated population, do to carry on the effort? The PC effort succeeded but the PC should not have to lead people around every corner.

Life is not over with you as yet.
Jimmy is still troubled with quilt and shame, and he will bear it until he goes to the grave.
You might feel "let off" but you are a haunted and troubled soul. You need to right the wrong.
All stolen money that he is using is vanity, vanity, vanity!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
