New group MP 2,000 enters the fray
A GROUP of professionals from the Western Highlands province have formed a group and have nominated a candidate to run for the Western Highlands provincial seat.
The group, known as Millennium Pack 2,000, is made up of university graduates; accountants, lawyers, doctors, or scientists, who left university on or after 2,000.
The MP 2,000 was formed last year to involve professional to debate, exchange ideas and information, have a vision for the people of Western Highlands province.
The group is backing Tom Olga to take on Governor Paias Wingti.
The MP 2,000 had asked Mr Olga to contest the elections because they feel there was a need for a change in the province especially at the governors’ level, because the province was poorly managed and as a result, services were not delivered. Mr Olga nominated yesterday. |

MP 2000,
Some of us or especially myself, I haven't been aware of this group MP 2000. Sounds like there is alot of brain power in that.
Where else can I turn to for more info on this MP 2000 group. I young professional who graduated after year 2000 and would very much like to be part of this.
Can someone genuinely point me to where I can access information about this group.
I like the idea.
Thanks,

I doubt that group as some of the members have questionable pasts...i know few of those "so called scientist group"... its another way of making money. When one of those "scientists" gets into power, he awards all the contracts to his cronesi, aka MP 2000... Hageners are very innovative and here's another scientific discovery....dont be deceived its a new formula for making money....

MP 2000
Where have you been in the last 5 years? Politics is not a new game and you know very well that Western Highlanders are very good at this game. You suddenly pop up on election time. Are you taking the voters as some idiots? Come on...it's laughable when you call yourself professionals. Check yourselves again. I think you are wasting your time.

Mr. Omnii, this group MP2000 has been around in the province for ages unlike you roaming in wilderness. The group comprises of majority of the best and young brains in the province. (Don't take me wrong). They have just entered the fields and some have not married, including Mr. Ogla himself. Also, most of them are victims of the University strike where they have been expelled and Mr. Ogla was one of them. The group has endorsed more than 40 candidates throughout PNG (mostly school mates around that year).
Let's just sit back and see the result instead of calling names to people.
Thanks.

First and foremost, MP 2000 is a subsidiary of People's Democratic Movement(PDM, which is where the abbreviation MP is derived from,a not as other terms as stipultated by some know-it-all scientists.
Since Paias has lost his flare and popularity among the educated and the elites in WHP alone, he came up with this idea of MP2000..the group is indeed made of educated elites, some having questionable pasts..couple of them have been implicated in the recent Finance Department Investigation million kina saga adn few of them whom i know of have been implicated alongside Jimmy Maladina in fraund charges...even some of them are now working for Paias as well.
Having formed the group he has invested his time and few millions so that the group is functional. So far there are close to 200 members that are in that group and its increasing.
Statistically Paias knows that he wont score well in some of the districts in WHP because of his low popularity and that some his opponents have a strong base there. Now he wants to put MP2000 into action right. Infiltrate those areas so that no one has a strong base to win, hence the trick... Its more or less a catch-22 strategy.....clever thinking by the Master Strategist himself, Jika Paias Wingti.
The "motive" MP2000 is to suppress WHP's elites, who Paias views it as a threat, and that is what's happening now. He has used the same formula in making millions in the Caribbean through Pacific Holdings Ltd and MM Oil Cop is the Middle east.....(MM stands of Minimb Moika).
He is very cunning and with that clever strategy, he will win, but will be a close fight between him and Thomas Nolnga.....one of them will either win by a small margin...
I dont think either Mr Ogla, Kindi Lawi nor Mr Wai will win....the people are now fed and from what i've gathered so far and from first hand view, one of the candidates from the Jiwaka area will win. And my money will on Thomas Nolnga...i'm a strong supporter of Paias and i will vote for him, but from what i see, its Thomas Nolnga for the governor's post.

Admirer MP 2000,
You didn't get the message!
I live in my village and have been commuting to Mt.Hagen for work for the last 15 yrs (not in the wilderness as you think). I don't think I have heard people talking about your group prior to this election. You know very well at election times, every candidate is always hot which gets everyone excited. As you may also know, villagers nowadays are very political savvy and at the same time are good con artists. They get excited and go in with the flow and can get you to fly on Cloud 9 but deep down, they have already made their choice on who to vote. You get the message now.
Anyways this is not a new thing and I hope your group had done the groundwork. It does not matter whether you have professional people involved or have so many candidates endorsed. The things that do matter are whether you have done the groundwork at the grassroots level and whether the grassroots people know you.
I wish you and your group good luck.

Do not defame others. You obviously don't have a point but mere accusations and defamation at its worst. |
