Unskilled Labourers

May 30 2007, 1:41 PM

He is from PNG, has got the damn right to contest in cyberspace too. However he is one of them "unskilled Labourers" around and you EHighlanders will do a grave mistake to send him back, after all, Kela Smith has done a huge lot to clean up that mess at the Yanepa Building. At least he cleared the mess, but Lafanama, I think he is better remain unskilled labourer. Yupela ting wanem'. Sori, ol wantok long EHP, Mi non-EHP. I can't vote for him, even if I live there long enough to vote him in.

Retain the Lost reputation!!!

May 30 2007, 2:09 PM

Aita & Peti have ruined EHP, they have erased the reputation of EHighlanders to manage government affairs themselves well. They lived in a dream world during their reigns. Because of that, they were voted out and people now favour Kela (naturalized citizen), people have thought back to colonial times. A people-minded EHighlander has to get records straight again to win back this lost reputation and trust from our people. Otherwise, we will continue to have other people represent us as governor.

Peti Lafanama was one of the originators of the lawyer kickback scheme that so many politicians have sense followed.

In short, Lafanama when governor of EHP issued contracts to outside lawyers. They were paid excessively for doing almost no work for the province. EHP paid the excesssive bills then the lawyer kicked back a goodly amount of money into Peti Lafanama's personal account.

Ask who's house Peti Lafanama lives in today if you want to know the scumbag lawyer's name involved.

Pure rabis man!

Re: Is Peti Lafanama Right For The Job???????

I can plainly recall way back in 1997 when Peti Lafanama first contested for "The National Election".He was influential in his capaign with the backing up of some prominant figures in the country. As a high school student @ that time, I thought Peti was the tru son of Eastern Highlands and would possibly become the next prime minister.

Ten years later it came to my knowledge that Peti ****ed himself and cannot come out in public anymore. The good news is no matter how he recycles himself he is never gonna get back that golden seat he was once sitting on freaking ten donkey years ago.I'am glad he was dethroned..we keep it that way, lock him out lest he gets in for another chance.....!

chao!

Truth about Peti Lafanama

May 31 2007, 11:59 AM

1. When Peti was Governor, most or if not all the people working in his office where Simbu's (No grudges against Simbu's). He could have had Unemployed Eastern Highlander's.

2. While he was Governor. He contracted Paraka Lawyer's to deal with cases relating to the Provincial Government, even though they already had a Full Time lawyer working (Nosso Tenige).

3. 18 - 20 Million of EHP unaccounted for when he was Governor. Where did it go? Presumably to Paraka Lawyer's ( Currently benefitting from this investment).

4. Currently living in POM in a house rented by Paraka Lawyer's. Is he working for Paraka Lawyer's to be entitled to a rental property??????????.....

Since he has not had enough from above, he is trying his luck again. He won the last elections campaigning against the Land Reform and NGO stuff. I don't know what he will be campaigning for this time around.............

Peti lafanama em "Unskilled Laborer" what quality be-fits him to crowned the prince of EHP. Should it occur to you that such dog fleece will ever bring any so called change of governance. Only lazy and guilable people wanted to enthrone such mis-fits. Quite talking about him and get on with life......ol APO.

We Chimbu's won't even consider elevating him to the kings throne either.

When will you figure out that a lowly unskilled labourer who is honest and fair will always make a better representative for us compared to a uni educated fancy mouth and know it all like the former governor Lafanama?

Stop putting down less formal educated people when it has become clear as day that the higher educated people, starting with Chan, Haiveta, etc., were the first to impliment and refine the con games that now are destroying our country.

Lufians can give Peti their last choice

June 3 2007, 2:49 PM

No evidence of what Peti has contributed to the Lufians nor the province in his term, he was using remote control to operate, only his close allies/securities/drivers knew his whereabouts.

People with NGO experience are people oriented, they mingle with people, find out their real life problems and provide solutions, but don't know about him. Lufians are not that ignorant, they will no longer go for a fool, they probably indicate the third preference if they want to. He has to find his base voters somewhere not Lufians.

He's good at land matters but proven to be lacking in other development issues.
