Since independence in 1975, Papua New Guinea Government has done little about the issues of its blood and same cloured skin brother; West Papua.

Your brother West Papua is suffering pain, death and torturing in their God given land by unwanted oppressor and invader. When are you Papua New Guinea (next door Melanesian brother), will strongly taken your stand and be the leader and elder brother of the Melanesian countries to address and fight for the independence of your crying brother (West Papua)in the international grand-stand.

Please, Papua New Guinea Government and Papua New Guineans (beloved brothers and sisters)help West Papua so it will gain its independence that we all could live side by side as brothers and sisters with similar races (cloured skin) and cultures.

When will West Papua gain its independence? Its the question that will lie on Melanesian's big brother; Papua New Guinea and its People.

PNG is not truely independent to help you. It sucks up to Australia and follow Australia's direction when it comes to the Irian Jaya issue. It is a pitiful situation but PNG does not have to balls when it comes to the Irian Jaya issue. It pretends to be brave when it comes to voicing concerns about French colonialism in the south pacific.

I thought PNG decided to suck up to Malaysia and China instead of Australia.

At least we always get on our knees like pigs and suck up to someone.

There are more Papua New Guineans who are deeply concerned about the plight of our brothers on the other side. We are ready to support our brothers in any thing they do.

It is our successive governments that have bowed down to australia's foreign policy against the West Papuans. The majority of the 7 milion PNGeans are with the West Papuans all the way.

If only our government can shun australia and support West Papuans.

Yu just have to walk across the border into Jaya pura, Djakarta, Manokwari, and the main towns located on the main island of New Guinea to realise how our Melanesian brothers are being treated across the border. They are made second class citizens in their own land na what are we doing about it?
Let them have their independence and decide for themselves where they want to go and how they want to live... but atleast they feel relief and have a sense of direction and responsibility in their own country.

there are rumours that....OPM Rebels are re-organise and there has been recruitment drives going on silently in PNG. Former PNGDFs soldiers are involve with PNG gangs to assist OPM Rebels

I helped display the Free Papua flag in Moresby once. Do you know what happened? The government was pressured by the Indonesian embassy to pull it down. It was on Catholic church properly. So the police were sent out and they pulled the flag down.

Some of us cried and God knows we could have used some help, some public support to give us the strength to not only raise that flag again, but more and more flags raised throughout Moresby in protest.

But our fellow countrymen in general couldn't give a ****. People who went to churches all over Moresby and say they believe in Christian values of course turned their faces away from us. No one helped. No one cared and because of that lack of concern and caring we were defeated by the Indonesian government which effectively imposed its power onto the nation of Papua New Guinea.

Thanks to the inaction of people like most of you on PNGSCAPE.

I proudly am NOT posting on who is hot or not. Instead I tell you this true story and I add this post to this thread so that it goes back ON TOP of the Politics Board.

Those who would rather talk about PNG political nonsense as opposed to learning more about the atrocities going on to our brothers and sisters across the border are nothing short of Papua New Guinean rubbish scum. You could be asking questions about this issue or discussing it if you really care. Do you really care?
