Party leader criticised

A PASTOR believes US-based scientist Dr Clement Waine should apologise to and compensate those candidates who contested under his political party banner in last year’s general elections.
John Tokam, pastor of PNG Prayer Tower Inc based in the Western Highlands province, said Mr Waine should return to the country and apologise to the 68 candidates who contested under the Star Alliance party banner.
“He failed to nominate on time and his name was struck off the ballot... his party candidates performed poorly, without getting any chance of winning a seat,” Pr Tokam said.
