I am a young Papua New Guinean & would like to know how or where I may source information relating to the PNG Government's Medium-Term Development Strategy and what initiatives our government is taking in order to implement these strategies.
It seems to me these items are discussed in mass-media and at public events yet everyday Papua New Guineas have no idea what the plan for our home PNG is and what those entrusted to serve our country's best interests are doing in their capacity as leaders to deliver defined strategies.
In all fairness, arm-chair critisism never helps anyone ... I love PNG and it breaks my heart that so many of our people are hard-working Papua New Guineans that don't have access to decent services; health care, education, transport, banking services, information technology, ...
I also recognise that it's not only up to our leaders to take PNG forward it is a concerted effort by each & every Papua New Guinea to all contribute toward making this place we call home work for everyone.
In summary, I would like to know how Papua New Guineans like myself can get information on what our goverment proposes to do as stipulated in the Medium-Term Development Strategy and also what they are doing to realise these strategies.
