Singirok, the Most Corrupt Officer Ever in PNGDF

Former PNGDF Sapper

Singirok The Most Corrupt Solder in PNGDF

Mr Singirok is a useless officer who destroyed the PNGDF and destroyed its respect and credibility. PM Chan during the time of the Bougainville civil unrest had to call in the Sandline Mercenaries because PNGDF was stretched to its limits at the time and parliament pleged more than 100million Kina to upgrade with helicopter gunships and fast attack boats for the Bougainville ops. Sandline was simply a part of the overall strategy. And too how can a PNG soldier be expected to continue to kill other PNG citizen.

During military ops, frontline soldiers were confronted with gross shortates from food to equipment. Parliament at the time began by allocating K10million for Operation Hi Speed as it was called. But then of this initial K10million money for operation Hi Speed, Singirok kept K8million for use in PoM HQ including renovations to his house, very expensive carpeting, a new VX turbo etc., while his men were eating kaukau in Bougainville. Only K 2million of the money actually went to the front line souldiers on Bougianville.

Parliament had planned to upgrade its helicopters and boats etc with more than a starting capital of K100million. Singirok though a part of the security council making these plans covertly approached the Franklin Brothers in England (arms dealers) promising them all the money. In return Franklin Bros opened furnished Singirok with 100,000 pounds in value in a credit card for his personal use.

When Chan and Haiveta decided instead to use Sandline Corporation, Franklin Brothers realizing their loss put pressure on Singirok to destabilize the army and the country. Which he did. Sandline got kicked out. Army officer rebelled. All because of the Singirok corrupt deal with Franklin Bros.

Franklin Brothers at the time too used its political connections in Australia to get the Australian PM at the time to broadcast daily a call to Papua New Guineans to stop the Sandline mercenaries.

Even though Australia at the time provided very poor level of commando training to PNGDF underestimating their skills. US on the other hand had provided the PNGDF commandoes with a very high level of military traiing beforehand.

Singirok was put on trial with his army cohorts (including MP Belden Namah an officer at the time). Despite overwelhming evidence against Singirok, He was acquited by Justice Arnold Amet (now Governor of Madang). Arnold Amet it now known is a cousin of Singirok and should have disqualified himself at the time. This was the first recorded corruption by a Chief Justice in PNG yet everyone kept quiet because everyone was mentally stressed out at the time.

Singirok it is obvious is traitor to PNG in addition to his vast corruption and greed.

Because of Singiroks greed, Sam Kauona's misguidance, and the Australian Government's meddling in the politics of PNG the people of Bougainville have suffered much in lives of women and children and the economy since the uprising and will continue to do so now. Independence is probably the only way for Bougianville to move forward in time.

Very eye openning insights!! Thanks very for putting up such postings. Some of us thought people were really concerned for others but didn't realize how they were benefiting on the other hand.

There is the cliche that says 'be careful what you do cos your sins will find you out.'

Singirok is a real snake in the grass, very crafty indeed. He has left the country with a legacy of Bougainville in Ruins.

And I never thought Judge Arnold Amet was that corrupt. "Blood is thicker than Water", and here it is so obvious at the highest respectable levels it missed the public eye. Judge Amet was also the piller of the pentecostal movement in Port Moresby too. Gosh.

Now Arnold Amet is the Governor of Madang. Ive always thought Peter Yama was the corrupt one but now Arnold Amet is probably more crafty and slyer. And he is a Crony of Somare too.

Damn the plot thickens... OMG, what is the country letting itself into?????

It pisses me off to know that even the chief justice can be that corrupt.

there must be a way in which people like this can be retried now that his corrupt cousin is no long the Thief Justice. And his cousin Thief Justice tried for corruption at the highest level. There are better judges on the bench now...

In other countries he would have been retried and executed by now. Then his cousin brought to trial and executed too.

I just wonder what are the strategies we ordinary citizens can use to actually catch these snakes and how we can try them if our system is infiltrated at all levels with crooks clothed in robes of respectability

interesting times....

Aye... we live in very interesting times in PNG but very sad times indeed too.

Interesting in a sense that we are experiencing evolution of politics, education systems and an emerging evolving Neo PNG culture (from primitive self subsistance based cultures to a unified semi cash based culture) in the midst of the age globallization, global warming and the ultimate age of IT.

Sad in the sense the all these are cloudened by an envelope of corruption and deceit fromm Judiciary, the military, political heads to religious leaders. And an evolving culture of corruption that is now inured into the modern PNG man and women's psyche. And where is the people's (men, women and children) place in the midst of all these? to wallow in dire poverty and its children of disease, starvation, failed statehood and homelessness? The ordinary PNG people whose care and welfare and resources are held in trust by the "elected" leaders

Yes, the above writers are right. Within the context of preventing the inuring of corruption into our Neo PNG culture psyche, A civil war, military takeover or a revolution is now overdue.

What with the Honduras military coup... the world has now reached a flash point where organizations such the military who feel they are now the only people to stand up for people's rights are now carrying out military coups... and coups were a thing of the pre 80s era. Its resurgence is a demonstration of the failure of democracy in many underdeveloped countries today.

PNG needs one now...

I beg to differ here and I agree with mangimasta in his logic. After more than 34 yrs of so called independence, what have we achieved through the democratic processes to evolve for the better our existing systems in institutions of government. Our current systems have systematically failed in improving the basic life of ordinary papua new guineans.

Current systems may work well for the developed nations who are already stable or in developing countries who have corruption and other law and order issues under control.

Which other ways are there that can enable a politics-free evolution of our democratic institutions with positive outcomes that are beneficial, progressive and sustainable to our peoples except through regime change, violently if necessary.

The most corrupt officers to date is the current CDF Commodore Peter Ilau and his buddy Secretary for DoD Fred Punangi. The Cunnts are so corrupt and have concern for the running of the PNGDF. Out of the two The Secretary is the worst. The Government should sack both of them.

IN SUPPORT OF FREEDOM OF SPEECH FOR PAPUA NEW GUINEANS

Freedom of Speech is a Right Under the UN Human Rights Charter
The PNGscape gestapo moderator gang continues to delete postings on this board, the most recent was the one on proxies in Pacific IT . They're comfortable knowing where you dudes are posting from because they know full well that most scapers are too dumb to post productive postings that bring truely positive change to PNG. When you begin suggesting things against their wantoks they delete and try to find out where you are.

Many scapers have opted to use proxies to protect their locations but these are people with the knowhow. For the rest to surf safely here you have options:

1. Use Elite or High Anonymity proxies: google and download Elite or High Anonymity Proxies. Most require payment however they usually allow a 7- 30 day period of trial use which is just as good. A couple worth trying are:
http://www.soft32.com/download/63-84193/hideippla.exe
http://www.eliteproxyswitcher.com/EPS_setup.exe
Good for home PCs

2. Download Tor program and install it on your computer. This is a program developed by ordinary people such as you to surf without authorities censorships such as the Chinese government or the pngscape gestapo moderator teams swoops and controls. For Tor to work well, it is preferrable to have the Mozilla fire fox browser installed too. Tor can be downloaded from:
http://www.torproject.org/download.html.en
Good for home computers.

3. And the best and easiest. Surf pngscape through a cloaking site, which acts as an anonymous proxy. There are many cloaking sites avalable online. Take ninjacloak.com for instance., Here scroll to the bottom of the page where there is space for the pngwebscape.net address to be entered. As long as you surf within the ninjacloak window you will be safe. It is also the easiest,
http://www.ninjacloak.com
Good for internet cafes

My advise is copy this info onto a document file and save it before the gestapo moderators delete this posting.
Happy surfing guys
