SAIBODO

Surprise Surprise.... Parliment has ben adjourned until November by the speaker. Guess they can milk that cow for another few months...........

The grassroots are not as ignorant and gullible as they think thoug, expect some tension on the streets.

As always Grand Chief "David Copperfield" Michael Somare has whiped out some more majic out of his bag of tricks.

Something's terribly wrong in PNG

July 21 2010, 6:41 PM

Jeffery Nape is always the dictatorship Nape supporting an old man who is so dumb and wrecked! Can the public in POM stop working for a day and march to the Parliament and force the Parliament to hold a Vote of No Confidence. Organising a riot in POM for the good of the country would better solve the problem than keep watching it!

Sori PNG....

Time to Change Nape

July 21 2010, 11:25 PM

Bad advice given to Queen
Is this the same Nape who was awarded The Order of Saint Michael and Saint George CMG (civil division) in last months Queens Birthday Honours for service to the community and politics?

Democracy Is now dead and buried. It's a shame leaders of this country have no respect for it's laws ans it's people. If ordinary citizens are going to salvage this sinking nation, NGO really need to rave up the campaign against corruption starting with the decicion by politicL puppet Jeffery Nape to adjoin parliament sitting gbe revoked immediately. And that the motion for a vote of no confidence must proceed.

Corruption is in the community as well not only in the parliament. Fix little things before you fix big things.

PNG IS DOOMED

July 22 2010, 10:21 AM

This is clearly a move by a desperate 'old man' and his 'dictatorial regime' to cling to power so he can finish off some of his unfinished business of selling this country to the 'yellow' dogs before he is kicked out.

If he (Palangat Somare) and his puppets and cohorts think they can manipulate our laws and constitution to cling to power then they are gravely mistaken.

It is time now for the ordinary citizen of this country to rise up and put an end to this dictatorial government. We cannot go on pretending that everything is fine with this government.

CITIZENS OF THIS COUNTRY! THIS IS YOUR LAND! THIS IS YOUR HOME! WE MUST NOT SIT AND LET OUR LAND BEING SOLD SOLD TO THE DOGS! RISE UP!!

This calls for a Nationwide Protest! Do it for your Land and your children! Now is the time!

Opposition are surely desperate to grab power. Self interest takes centre stage and stability is out of sight. All they want is to change government for no solid reason. Stability in politics played a major role in our economy and if the opposition destroys that we're back to the old days. Don't be too emotional.
See the importance of a stable government in the past 8 years. Somare can go at the end of this term if they want a change. Olsem wanem yupela poret lo challenge lo election? See if you can win numbers.

How is the somare regme fared with Development apart from minor scandals which apparently happens in almos all regimes in PNG.

Mekere's is worst? He introduced the world Bank SAP program and destroyed the fabric of our melanesian society from a pluralistic society to indidivudualist monetary spciety just like of his tambus. (life became harde during his regime, through his polices, SAPs, USer pays, downsizing etc). Why are some of our hignlands brother MPs behind him? He had blood in his hand during his short stint compared to Sir Michael during his tenure in parliament. Mekere killed a number of highalnds students during a civil protest years back. Are we still feeling the effects of the dead or not? I thought naturally Highlanders are known for paybacks and would have such incidents fresh in their minds for attack.

Moreover, Opposition do not have any alternate policies in place to base their arguements on. Their attacks are all personal. Besides what can they do in 12 months. Implement somare policies or develope new ones? If new ones then they will never have the opportunity to even impplement nor develop one. Otherwise, I belive they will ride on existing polcies especilly the LNG in which most of the oppostion MPs would want to lay hands on the lucrative industry and its benefits. Let's think outsite the box then seeing one side of the picture.

Kill them One by One

Re: PNG IS DOOMED

PNG is doomed! Set up and organisation and train assassins to shot these corrupt leaders one by one! Maybe they will change when one is shot down and a warning is published on the papers stating that next corrupt MP is in line if they dont change.

What about this?
