There is so much injustice in this great country and yet with all your free speech and democratic rights you cannot for just one minute rise up and say NO as a nation and demand fairness in the name of GOD.
So DIE!!!!! everyone of you. for you all deserve it.
Your children are hungry, you have no jobs, your government is corrupt beyond comprehension, you live in filth, you can even feed yourself and yet you remain content. content that GOD is looking out for you...
God doesnt look out for lazy ... if you pray all day, who will feed you....
Go out and demand what is right. show them that do you injustice that you will not sit down and watch your children and siblings and cousins die from illness and sickness and crime this country should by right not have. and yes im talking to you!!!!!
you are all far worse than my fathers people in Greece and yet they strike and you watch.
the God you love is willing to bless this country but is waiting for you to throw of your cowardly ways and take the first steps to delivering yourselves.
RISE UP PNG. YOU ARE BETTER THAN THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You guys wanna know what is wrong with PNG?????\
Cos we have no true Nationalists in the country...
we only have Tribesmen who are being loyal to their own tribesmen...sepik na sepik, highlands na highlands, etc etc!!!!
That is why our country is not going anywhere....
If, and only if we change our attitudes ans mindsets can only then you can see the whole nation stand up against these communists....
Otherwise, thank you very much, we aint goin no where!!! And we will continue to see our very own leaders become reach at our face.....
Absolutely right observer, how do we solve that....sounded like a big question. But we can change it unless we have some drives/balls/guts/time/enegry/resources/care/courage/faith in ourselves and think/plan/execute/access and eventually will get there. When do we start????????
PNG is going from bad to worse, from the leaders down to the people. I know we are approaching 2012 general election and as you may see and feel that bureaucrats and politicians want to get their playing cards ready for the election. I think as civil society and humble citizens of PNG, lets stand up and boycott 2012 general election. Simply refuse to vote. Lets create some constitutional crisis, if needs be.In terms of coup, I dont think we are capable of having a coup government(military is f**ked up).
If GG has some power to dissolve Parliament and appointment interim government, pls can we try that until such time that we get our heads in order. In that way, through GG power, we can get competent ppl to run the government on merits (without fear nor favour) maybe for 3 years before going back to polls....
F**k too many laws strangling PNG citizens to exercise its civil and democratic rights..
Dats my ting2 and I'm exercising my rights..freedom of speech and expression passively.
I would think that since we cannot rise up as a country, we would be better of looking after our own interests. Start looking at how you will feed yourself and your family. How you can utilise resources within your grasp to make life better for yourself.
Forget the country. I would rather fight for my family and my tribesman than fighting for a country that doesn't have any pride in itself.
I think we can create a sense of Nationalistic. There is only one tool which we can use to bring nation together and that is through SPORT.
My advice to govt is promote all codes of sport. Market all our sport talents internationally and let them compete at international level. PNG government must play hosts to alot of international sporting events. I give credit to Stanley..He is a true man with true nationalistic idea...learn from him..
The problem is wantok system and regionalism, Break up the xxxx country into regions of smaller states to run themselves, Sepiks look after themselves with their saksak & crocodiles, Highlans with their kaukaus & abuse, na solwara pipol with their sea & fish. We can't seem to be united yet the MP's preach about communal benefits which is infact "GREED". When things are in the big basket, no one knows if some goes missing, that's the whole reason they preach the "UNITED WE STAND, DEVIDE WE FALL". F**kin load of unreal slogan, it should be "UNITED WANTOK SYSTEM, DIVIDED IN REALITY".

Why we don't do anything is because although the theft of money is happenning, it does not directly cause us any pain. We still eat rice every night and drink a 6 pack on weekends.Maybe some of us have eaten steak & drunk expensive whiskey funded by these stolen monies???
We need to make this relevant to us as a people. We need information back from the rural areas - how many people died due health centeers not have enough medicine even though funds were budgeted to provide medicine. We need journalists to cover these stories in depth. They are someone's mother, father, brother or sister. They could be our relatives (wantoks).
When it hitís close to home Ė people will sit up and notice.
Believe me, 6 million people are like an elephant that is controlled by small rats in top government positions & members of parliament. Once we awake, they will tremble and run for cover.
We need a national disaster to bring us together like if another country invaded us. then like all other developing countries png would either be made or broken under the baptism of fire.for instance if another country invaded us and all available men were called to duty to fight for our country them the proof would be in the pudding. unfortunately indonesia would be able to send millions of unarmed soldiers to beat us to death with sticks after we ran out of ammunition for our 800 soldiers and 1500 cops. we need to study emerging nations 100 years ago, thats us all over again with growing pains. another way would be a benevolent dictatorship with a strong military government. i dont like it but if its for the good why not.
