In March this year applicants for citizenship met in Port Moresby with the Citizenhip committee at Somare Haus.

All these applicants have been waiting for the past 7 months for an outcome.

When chasing up with the Immigration office I was informed that the minister for Erave the honourable James Lagea has had all files in his possession for the past three months.

How much longer will it take before the applcants are advised of the status on their application?

Why does these simple procedures take so long?
