The Enga NA President Paul Kurai needs to understand that Sam Abal is not the Prime Minister of Enga. He's decision to sack Don Polye and William Duma is in the best interest of the Nation of Papua New Guinea. Who cares if it's a "Slap in the face" for Enga.
Engans have an issue with pride and it's good that the Acting PM Sam Abal in his wisdom have put Don Polye in his place. The country doesn't need instability when we are just 12 months away from Elections.
I would hope that Wabag Open re-elect Sam Abal as their MP as I see he stands out amongst all our Highlands MPs as a Prime Minister Material. He is God fearing, hard working, decisive, humble, and honest.
your totally right on the point.
This guy who ever think he is P.Kurai.. must know that we are talking about the Acting PM here. Abel is not the one briging disrepect to ENGA,, but it YOU MR.KURAI.. shame on you... this is unheard off... shame shame shame...
Just who is Kurai?? Has he been mandated as an elected leader to critisize Abal? He should keep his loot from Polye's so called works contracts and shut up. He is a pest with his K1 construction company siphoning money with Polye. Look at Kandep, no way near; people are still waiting and road network is very poor and Kurai lives off Polye and now saw fit to expel Abal.
Abal is the son of legendary Sir Tei Abal and is a career diplomat who operates professional and has the right to sack ego filled, typical highland bigman type Polye, who has achieved nothing as works minister, all the road networks in PNG have collapsed, airports, ports etc as well under Polye's eyes. Such is a weak leader with a big mouth and ego filled heart. Sam Abal is a cool gentleman, a committed SDA and has one wife and respected by all Papua New Guineans.
So, pests like Kurai or others, back off and let Abal clean up the mess!
Abals decision was done as PM of PNG mot Enga. Narrow-minded, uneducated people like Kurai must respect the office of Abal. What I see is he is trying to save his business coz Polye is the one who dishes out construction contracts to him in kandep.
Kurai or Kukurai or whatever his name is..who is he to comment on national politics?
Parliament is more superior than your provincial party position. Govt mekim decision, its not for you little wannabe politicians to complain. Its a clear case of leaches screaming when the host dies..by the way, can some Engans tell us how many wives Polye and Kurai have?
Paul Little Kurai owns a construction, one that was registered when Polye became the MP. Soon Polye was appointed Works Minister, it was like long-awaited-luck in the making.
To cut it short, Paul Kurai got all road contracts in Kandep and and some parts of Tambul-Nebilyer district. Contracts awarded without DSIP tender processes (Polye thombs his chest for it).
When Polye was given marching order by the CEO of PNG, Kurai knew that there is no loner a milking cow. This is what he called "slap in the face of Enga" while Abal acted to instill political and economic stability of PNG.
