World Current Events
World current events, trends, signs of the end times and Bible prophecy
Political crisis in PNG, failed army mutany in PNG, NEC suspends CJ, 60 killed in PNG landslide disaster near giant gas project in Hela,
Disaster as PNG ferry sinks with more than 370 on board, drunkard woman knocks down someone in waigani
protest in Syria / yemen, earth quake in Philipines, Greek in financial global melt down,
Do all these sound familiar? What do all these tell us then?
I would also like to direct your minds, if there are any christians reading or posting in this column to King Nebuchanezzar's golden
image dream in Daniel chapt 2.
The image towering image was made of following
Head of Gold
Chest and Arms of silver
Belly and Thighs (hips) of brass
Legs of Iron
Feet of Iron and Clay
If you line the body parts and minerals associated with each of them, gold is expensive and on the top whilst clay,
which is of no value is at the bottom. We cannot sell Clay. It is of no value.
Whereas in the body metaphor, the head is on the top because it directs legs how to walk / run, etc.
The control center is the head where the brain is located and directs/cordinates other body functions.
And in a sports/games, the first comer gets a gold, followed by silver, bronze and there is no price for clay, as we know.
The metals in this image ranks from most precious (gold) to not precious (clay). Gold is now trading at $1763 an ounch.
Gold is expensive and has monetory value. We cannot trade clay for money. It is of no vlaue.
Gold cannot bend or break easily, whereas clay is very fragile.
What I am trying to say is, the best (golden) days are over, gone. We are headed into the worse days of clay mix iron.
We are headed into more troublesome days ahead, not only in PNG but all over the world.
There will be more natural disasters, more protests, more riots, more financial melt downs, more war and romours of wars, more of political crisis ahead of us.
Do not presuposse that after 2012 elections we will come back and start all over again. 2012 general elections will bring its own share of problems.
The political / ecomnomic crisis of the world will have its share of ripple effects in PNG economoy. Dont think PNG is an isolated island.
We are a network of global communities. The world is closer than we think before.
Daniel 2:44: And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed:
and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.

Such bullsh!ts. The world is more peaceful and stable now than it was 200 years ago, which was more peaceful and stable than 500 years ago, which was certainly more peaceful and stable than 1000 years ago. The prophecies look true only if we twist around the truth to fit the prophecies.

Clay is more valuable than it ever was. Clay is used to make bricks, pots, and other items. Read here to learn of all the VALUABLE, commercial uses of clay:

We can all see that you're conveniently leaving out any facts that don't happen to fit your little idea.
By the way, there have been climate change every 10,000-20,000 years roughly for as long as there are geologic records, and humans have been around for the last few climate changes (this is the first climate change that our own actions have caused).
Rather than spend your time trying to contort the evidence to fit your little ideas, why don't you focus more productively on getting involved to do something to solve our problems. Most of our problems right now relate to our tendency (especially in developing countries like PNG) to reproduce like mindless rabbits and fill up every space on earth with people. Some countries have learnt to control that animal instinct and if the rest of the world followed, we would change things around towards more positive outcomes quite strongly.
What prophecy are you on about ? Little knowledge is dangerous and such is common in streets and market place in Port MOresby where over-nite preachers spew this sort of garbagge.

So much for your distorted views of the world, trying to fit everything into Biblical prophesy. Here's what surveys find:
Poll: World is a happier place than 2007
By msnbc.com staff and news services
TORONTO -- Despite economic hardship, wars and natural disasters, the world is a happier place today than it was four years ago and Indonesians and Mexicans seem to be the most contented people on the planet, according to one survey.
Regionally, Latin America had the highest number of happy people, followed by North America, Asia-Pacific and the Middle East and Africa. Only 15 percent of Europeans said they were very happy.
More than three-quarters of people worldwide who were questioned in an international poll said they were happy with their lives and nearly a quarter described themselves as very happy.
"It is not just about the economy and their well-being. It is about a whole series of other factors that make them who they are today," John Wright, senior vice president of Ipsos Global, told msnbc.com on Friday. Ipsos Global has surveyed the happiness of people in 24 countries since 2007.
Happier maybe? but is the world a safer place? Not taking into account wars, and crime rates you should reconsider your question on happiness. Happiness doesnt mean we live in a safer world.
Safest Places to Live
With the recent natural disasters that have devastated so many communities throughout the world, when you are considering your next move, you may be wondering if there is anywhere left that is safe to live.
The answer is, no. Every area in the world has either suffered from, or will suffer from, a natural disaster. Whether it is a drought and tornadoes in the Midwest, flooding and ice storms in the Northeast or earthquakes and mudslides along the west coast, Mother Nature has the upper hand.
Forbes recently partnered with Sperling's Best Places to uncover the 10 safest places to live. Here are the top 5:
1. Honolulu, Hawaii
2. Bosie, Idaho
3. Sante Fe, New Mexico
4. Yakima, Washington
5. Spokane, Washington
We simply cannot argue against the Prophecies of the bible. They will come to pass.
There is no need to argue with any one of you on this board too. It is real and it's up to each one of us to make our own decision to believe or not to believe. If you know the truth don't deny it or just don't comment.
Welcome to the outside world, where there are more non-Christians than Christians, and where there are alternative holy books with their prophesies to believe in or not to believe in.
Take it ALL TO THE RELIGION BOARD, not here. This is the Politics board.
Religious types can argue over nonsense day and night over on RELIGION BOARD if they want.
