Speaker Nape maintains Election in OctoberMay 9 2012 at 7:46 AM | Friends2All Enemies2None |
| There is a romour, from a very substantial contact and from the mouth of speaker Nape himself that election IS still deferred to October. Parliament passed the bill for 6 months extension and the decision stands. To relent the bill to defer the election to October, 63 mps must come back to parliment and vote to nulify the bill. According to Nape, PM ONeil is puffing hot air about election will be held in June. Nape says parliament is bigger than Oneil and the decision to defer election to October still stands. Nape was heard saying he has to respect decision made by parliament.
He was also heard saying he himself is not ready for June election.
Passing this information so you will not be suprised when election is deferral to October by parliament still stands. |

with this coming out from the mouth of a very stuborn speaker (he will allow that no doubt), the ajornment of parliament to 15th may and with corect intention to amend the contitutional act to allow open members seat WITH FLAW is a clear indication for the last parliament (this parliament) to defer the election, comon PNG PEOPLE what are going to do next? |

I also heard from some reputable source that Parliament would adjourned by 6 months. If it is the case, then we are expecting violent all through out PNG because of the following reasons:
1. A lot of intending candidates spent so much money already,
2. People are sick and tired of current government unconstitutional behaviours,
3. It will have negative impact on our economy as foreign investors might
withdraw.
4. The current MPs might use up all the monies budgeted for 2012. This is because
the Ombudsman Commission did not freeze all the MPs electoral funds account
three months before the issue of writs election.
Accordingly, I advise the Electoral Commissioner to issue the writs on 18 April 2012 regardless of what happens on the floor of Parliament.
The people of PNG ARE WITH YOU (EC).
MAY GOD SAVE PNG! |

You say that there's a chance that foreign investors might withdraw? Does that include the asians?
If so, I'm all in favour of it. The foreign investors invest as little as possible in PNG in order to make the biggest possible profit. We fall over ourselves at the few jobs they create and are essentially blinded to how badly we're being ripped off.
How stupid we are to what's going on around us.
If the actions of Nape may help scare away these foreign investors, I'm all in favour! |

Nape still pushing hard to defer his imprisonment by 6 months? Hahaha!
That is okay, as long as we can extend your jail term by 6 months.
And we'll throw in a bonus... you and belden can share the same cell.

They don't go to jail because your thoughts and words allow them to escape.
The supreme court is supremely pissed off. They'll start handing down.

He WON'T!
| The Supreme court is corrupt, the whole system is broke, so how does Nape go to prison? | May 14 2012, 6:43 AM |
Problem is, the supreme court is also corrupt - makes biased judgements. Yes, Nape should go to jail (but under what violation of the law? Right now the only way the supreme court could possibly imprison him is for contempt of court, nothing more). But their own credibility has been destroyed by their corruption and even when they make a non-corrupt ruling, the defendants can legitimately scream that the court is corrupt. Because it is. And so they just ignore the justices because there is no longer any respect for corrupt, biased judgments either (and the truly guilty can easily take advantage of that).
And it is the greed of the judges as much as that of the pollies that has now destroyed the rule of law in PNG. They are in as much need of going to prison as the pollies but they never will. Know why? Because they're corrupt and will protect each other!
See - the whole system has collapsed because of greed. And are we, the average PNG, any less corrupt and any less greedy than they are? |
