Onamah visits Sepik with 100 fully armed soldiers & Police

June 8 2012 at 6:12 AM
Mangi Wosera

Three (3) weeks ago Belden Namah flew by helicopter into Yambi Station in Wosera/Gawi via Madang. Before he landed at Yambi, 6 tinted glass landcruisers with 10 soldiers each arrived, drew their machine guns and pointed their guns and ran all over the isolated station.

The helicopter landed about 5 minutes later and 6 SSD officers armed with machine guns came out and took up firing positions all around the helicopter. Belden was then given the all clear to come out of the helicopter.

He came out and picked up a loud hailor and declared: “Yupela Sepik lukim ah? Mi Belden Namah, mi no poretim upla, mi kam tachim graun blo yupela. Na yupela bai wokim wanem?”

He then got back into the chopper and took off for Maprik. He waited until the 6 land cruisers, driving at high speed, entered Maprik town and he repeated his actions.

I don’t know about the rest of PNG but here in East Sepik, we are not electing any of Dictator Belden and O’neil’s candidates because we will not be intimidated with guns.

Over to you PNG, what are you guys going to do? Are we all going to continue to accept this corrupt people and their bully tactics or are we, the good people of PNG going to stand up against these idiots?

On that you are very wrong. They know that we Papua New Guineans will only whinge when they take over the government again. We won't actually rise up against them. They're preparing to carry out the biggest voting fraud in history to ensure they get the most number of winners in their political parties and after that, they plan to buy off the rest of the support they need. Once they've formed the government, expect martial law and relative dictatorship. And all we will still do is whinge!

Belden Namah will lose badly in Vanimo Green. All landowners he has bee preying on have deserted him. When he succumbs he will be crushed by sepiks. wait and see.

Do you honestly think that Belden Namah is going to just count the votes in Vanimo Green and go with the results?

Of course he's not. He's been planning for possibly losing the election for months now and his backup plan will put him on top, just like Don Polye with his hilarious 80% win in 2007. If no one questioned Polye's corrupt vote switching and stuffing, Namah will certainly get away with the little plan he has up his sleeve.

In the end, Belden Namah will be laughing his head off at people like you!

PNGans we wait and see if election outcome will change everything...we have more powerfull men than Belden Namah..but they are lving silently without noise watching and waithing pateintly because they love peace and respect for constitution. we all hope that belden Namah and Oniel wont form new government after election.. But if they win congredulation!!! and when they form government, then so be it this is a democretic country!!! Let those minor group of SSD police & army go on protecting Oniel& Namah becuase constitution is still alive, this cause people to respect authorities like police & army.Let PM, DPM and few group of SSD and Army do whaterver they like in the name of power and money...Ol SSD and 100 army em wok blo ol kamap oslem flower girls and rausim flies lo Namah & Oniel wanem hap 2pla go.
But... taim Oniel & Namah abuse this young vibrant democretic country to a extreme level when they form next governmnet (definately both will),hopefuly with more numbers.
Then, we must excuse our constitution for awhile and take law into our hands. I think the best solution would be not marching and giving uselss petions after petition. but to start a people's group to kill them and their cohorts. We will put 9mm on their skulll. this time powerfull PNGans will rise to exteminate displa weeds nogut wok lo grow an spoilim our democretic graden.

I don't want a leader with more power than Belden Namah. I want a leader with less power, so that the people of PNG hold the most power. A democratic government is supposed to be a government OF THE PEOPLE which means we the people should hold the power, not our stupid leaders.

Right now our leaders run circles around us because we have no power. That was our foolish mistake.

Voter did you empty his bank account?

June 11 2012, 2:15 PM

We may say this and that but we didnt really proved ourselves during all these polical crises. please yupla ol wantoks, who ever got money this time will win with a huge margin. I am sorry for those Political Parties and cadidates have less or no money this election year. they will defenitely be a looser together with some of our intelectual guys who are contesting this year.

I regretably wana declear that every reach men contesting this election will all walk back to the Parliament after winning the election.

some of the good intelectual candidates were refused by our voters because they don't have a money.those candidates were regarded as visitors and strangers because they don't have a money to bribe the voters.

Even the family members let them down just to avoid embarrassement and shame because they don't have money.

example: A candidate in my village call Nixon Mangape was arrested by MP Philip kikala and his supporter Robert Alembo, and put in the Baisu jail and he bailed out with K97,000.00. He also paid for all the illegal miners who were there in baisu jail and took them with him to Porgera.

so People with money can do anything to win the election.

Ms Whatex,

You must be one of Belden's many girlfriends. All I did was tell the world what we in Central Sepik observed this small brain animal doing on our soil.

We do not support Somare but that does not mean we will bend over for an armed thug. You must be sick in the head and all you can think about is sodomy.

Shame on you, try and grow some brains and debate intelligently.

You might be right sunset merona.

His candidates are actually struggling because if you show weapons to the people of Central Sepik it just pisses them off. Most of the people here are peaceful folk and the quality admired the most here is the ability to work hard and to humble oneself.

Brandishing weapons and showing military strength to us is a sign of weakness. Anyone who tries to elevate himself in our territory gets nowhere, the one who humbles himself is the one who will be elevated. Its a houseman thing.

I think Namah's own behaviour will work against him and the candidates he has selected here are also militant people known for organising unprovoked attacks against other groups. Such people will not get votes in Central Sepik.
