O'Neil being the first person to declare the winner of the 2012 national elections does not gurantee or have the ultimate chances of convincing the MPs to buy them to get votes. There are many smart leaders like O'Neil. But O'Neil is not that smart as other sitting politicians and many of those comming from independents.
Though he is the cartaker PM, any political party has the chances of forming the next government as long as they play the right card and master the number.
Lets wait and see as O'Neil will be building a new government as well because there are many contenters in the caliber of Don polye, Powes Parkop, Beldon Nemah, Ipatas and Anderson Pawa Agiru with Na,etc.
Prevailing circumstances permitted Peter O'Neil to be PM. Whilst PM, he did so many things that made PNG the laughing stock of the Commmonwealth nations and within the international community.
My prayer is that PNG voted sensibly despite the deliberate shortfalls within the common rolls and, at the deepest and pervasive levels, the prevalence of corruption during the polling periods.
Peter O'Neil lacks the basic credentials to be PM again. He is not assertive, decisive, authorative, disciplined, visionary, and most importantly lacks moral authroity - cannot distinguish with pentrating clarity what is public asset and what belongs to him.
As the counting unfolds nationwide Peter O'Neil is not the front runner for the PM's job.
How in the hell can "PNG vote sensibly" when there was voting fraud throughout the country from top to bottom? The good people are almost never gonna win in this election cause the vote counting IS FIXED!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Gents,Let's not look at the past, what's done is gone,Oniel doesn't care what good or bad he has done in the past, what he wants is,if he got chance of becoming the next PM,he want to deliver to the very remote place of this country what they have been missing for past 37 yrs,you may not beleive me but I'm sure that is truly what Oniel is looking at,with country's revanue booming on 2014,he plans to deliver to very poor people back in very remote area of this country, trust me he will do it.
O'Neil has 45% chances of forming the next government

There is no 100% guarantee that ONeil will automatically form the next government.
ONeil did not deserve the PM seat but was given on a golden plat as opportunity came his way.
Given that the OLD MAN is back with some of his old political architects like Anderson Agiru, Paul Tenstein and Patrick Prutiach, Ipatas, a very cunning politician. With these on the old's man's side, I believe they will form a strong team to pursue their unfinished or unsettle political battle that they have left last year.
It won't be a free ride for O'Neil. It will be any body's game and Don Pome Polye will again be the power breaker of the formation of new government...meaning Polye will determine who will be the next PM.
