People of PNG, with Patrick Pruaitch as the new Forest minister, its likely we will see a repeat of the following:
1. More billions of kina being proceeds from logging (and kickbacks) getting transferred to offshore accounts in Singapore/Switzerland
2. Return of controversial figure, Mr Kevin Conrad as the Climate Change ambassador
3. Returning of the companies set-up (related to Grand Chief) for the Carbon Trading Scheme. Note in December when court declared GC as the legitimate PM, he gave himself the Climate Change portfolio. Sounds familiar?
4. Proceeds from Carbon Trading getting diverted to new accounts away from NSW and QLD bank accounts. There's billions forecasted to flow in from Carbon Trading and its just as lucrative as LNG.
Did O'Neil ever take this into consideration? PNG, you have been warned.
O'Neil too is also a corrupt man himself because he has some past uninvestigated deals with Moses Malandina in the last Somare government over the NDF issues.
It would be a custom or a usual way of doing business for the elected MPs because most of the senior Mps who were given the portpolios including Patrick Pruich or whoever are all hooked up to the system and would be very difficult to pinpoint each other. They will just accept it as a normal way of life for them.
If Namah on the oposition means business and pursue his agendas then I beleive atleast Patrict Pruich or whoever holding on to lucrative portpolios like Forestry may take extra precaution.
All new Mps in the Oneil-Dion Government who were given potpolios too will drink the Waigani wine and everybody get hooked up to the same old system so no one would stand up to fight for corruption and the rights of the people of Papua New Guinea.
Lets wait and see what transpired...now all eyes and ears will be on Namah, Sam Basil, Marat and those on the opposition.
Peter O'Neil must be blind to appont PP to the forest ministry. When will O'Neil come to realize that it is one of the most corrupt Departments?Billions being stolen form PNG....?????? O'Neil is accountable for the appointment of PP.
If you haven't noticed the logging is so bad in our forests that they easily burn afterwards and you end up with deforestation. The trees are nevah coming back, thanks to Vision City and The National Newspapers' owners, vicious Chinese-Malaysian logging company RIMBUNAN HIJAU.
