Surely hope PM's eyes will reach higher than trouser zipper level of other world leaders

worried sick

As you know we have a problem with our PM being so short that his eyes often only come to the level of the kan or the trouser zipper when he meets other world leaders and faces towards them. I hope this embarrassment will not be repeated in Russia!

PNG to rub shoulders with top economies

PAPUA New Guinea will feature among the world’s top financial leaders and leading business entities when the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) World Leaders meet in Vladivostok, Russia, this week.
Prime Minister Peter O’Neill will sit among these world leaders to present the country’s economy and business interests and meet with trading partners to further strengthen ties.
Mr O’Neill left the country yesterday to join up with other APEC World Leaders in Vladivostok, Russia, for the APEC Economic Leaders’ Week from September 2-9 to deliver an added boost to growth and prosperity in the Asia-Pacific region.
Following a successful Pacific Islands Forum in Rarotonga last week, Mr O’Neill is looking forward to having another round of fruitful talks with his counterparts on issues of mutual interest.
Other leaders who will be travelling with him include Minister for Foreign Affairs and Immigration Rimbink Pato and Minister for Commerce, Trade and Industry Richard Maru.
Leaders of APEC’s 21-member economies will meet on September 8-9 under the theme ‘Integrate to Grow, Innovate to Prosper.’ The meeting will be preceded by the APEC Ministerial Meeting on 5-6 September 5-6.
On the table will be APEC’s 2012 priorities which include the strengthening of trade and investment, regional economic integration, food security, supply chains and innovation.
The business community will have several opportunities for high-level engagement with APEC Leaders in Vladivostok, including during the APEC CEO Summit on September 7-8.

Pato and O'Neill will spend most of their time trying to set themselves up as private middlemen to deals in PNG so they can get richer yet. What a joke this is.

At least Hilary Clinton won't be there. At the Fiji meeting, our PM's eyes reached just about the level of her kan!

I'm sure the personal behaviour of the PM and his buddies will be embarrassing enough. Let's hope the reporters don't discover any of it.
