Thanks Linda, and other folk who are writing in from all around the globe to help. Linda, your letter was published in the Chronicle this week and has greatly helped to raise awareness.

The meeting last night was very well attended, and there was a vote with 90% support for the campaign. there were lots of useful suggestions about issues to raise with the planners, and I would like to thank everyone for turning out. I'll put a full report on the website soon.

The main way you can all help the campaign is to persuade as many friends and relations as possible to write or email in to the planning department with your objections - its a numbers game now. The main point of the campaign now is to kill the appication dead by the end of November, otherwise we may have a long dragged out Appeal process. We all have better things to do than spend our entire free time fighting Wimpey Homes, but right now there doesnt seem to be much choice but to campaign as hard as we can.
      Cheers, Rob
