Bow-wow (see elsewhere) has heard that the consultants report on the Colzium will recommend that the pet cemetery be closed, for public health reasons.

What do you think? Is it a hazard, or should we retain some facility for the dignified DIY disposal of our "best friends".

I'm biased - I have an elderly springer, and he loves the Colzium.

OK, OK, the "T" on my keyboard is next to the "R" and my proofreading was a bit off that day! But what about the wee woofies, where will they go to die if the cemetary is closed?

Rob

PS I have now removed the offending spelling - that's one of the few bonuses to being the webmaster! If anyone else wants to retract something, just let me know - for a small fee almost anything can be arranged!

writing this to say i am appalled at what some people are doing up there;
as if the burial ground was not big enough for some people they have started burying around the corner going on to the main avenue; this is the thing which will close this site for all us dog lovers; there;s plenty room in the usual place; when did they change the putch and putt to a cycling complex;
woof-woof; gr---------------

Thanks Bow-wow, I noticed the new bike track too, and was a bit puzzled, though I cant wait to try it out with my bike! But seriously, this is a bad site for burying the woofies because there are too many tree roots, it wouldn't surprise me if some of the animals are buried too shallow, which could cause all kinds of problems with foxes and rats. I think its a great idea in principle to have somewhere to bury your pet, but I wouldn't like to have to dig in that site myself - probably put my back out.

What does everyone else think - should we have a different location, and if so how should it be regulated, if at all?
