TAKE A CHANCE AND PLAY A PART, CARING FOR THE PEOPLE OF LANARKSHIRE
This is Lanarkshire's largest Charity, covering both North and South Lanarkshire.
It is Lanarkshire's only Hospice, open to all without distinction of race, gender or creed
The Hospice recently expanded care services and our staff now oversee care to 120 Lanarkshire patients each week
Running costs have increased by £400,000 per annum as a direct result. We require to raise £1.2million by fundraising this year alone.
We launched the Lanarkshire wide Lottery on 26 August 2000. By early 2002 this will meet £300,000 of the £400,000 quoted. ALL PROFITS from the Lottery will be used for continuing and improving the services provided to the people of Lanarkshire by the Hospice.
First weekly draw for £1000 top prize and £500 other prizes took place on Friday 24 November 2000.
You can join anytime!
How to play:
It costs just £1 per week, which can be paid by Standing order, Cheque, Postal Order.
As we do not have the resources of the National Lottery we ask where possible that people will consider playing by Standing order or cheque as this cuts down our admin here at the Hospice.
However if we can find a willing and able volunteer to collect or be the payment point for us in Forth, all the better. This means cash payments can be made, but to take the pressure off our collectors this would be 4 weekly. CAN YOU HELP US HERE?
