Keep Scotland Beautiful is calling on all interested groups to enter the 2009 Beautiful Scotland Campaign – before the fast approaching deadline of 27th March!
The campaign is a fantastic opportunity for communities of all shapes and sizes to come together, make a long-term difference to their local area – and potentially win a prestigious award. The Beautiful Scotland campaign also brings with it a real sense of pride in your area, making it a wonderful place to live and to visit.
The campaign does include horticulture but also looks at efforts towards sustainability, public participation and issues such as litter and graffiti. Entrants are expected to show evidence of activity throughout the seasons, so it is an ongoing project.
Suitable for all, young people from 9 to 90 can take part, make a difference and have fun at the same time!
Full advice and guidance will be given so please get in touch with the team at Keep Scotland Beautiful on 01786 471 333 or email beautifulscotland@ksbscotland.org.uk to express your interest.
