that I have the floor. Can I keep it? What are the care instructions? Do I have to avoid feeding it a midnight?
Now that I got my sarcasm fill for the moment (it'll be short), out of all that was in the post you took THAT from it. That's .. um, interesting. Ya, we'll say interesting cause I have respect for the board and moderators and.. well you don't to be honest. So I'm going to refrain from comment beyond that. And by the way, I'm not here to enlighten; it's not really my scene. And I'd hate to interupt cause you're doin such a bang up job all by yourself (see, short moment). But I'll take a stab at your query:
Number A: No I don't believe in the idea that Zen or quotation can be of singular context. However, the context you were utilizing for this quote was shaky at best. "Shaky at best" being a fine use of subtlty.
Now on to Letter 2: You really wanna insinuate that Mr. Schutle has been "in" the art for 40 years as kind of a mouthpiece, if you will, rather then training in it for that length of time, then be my guest. Cause in the end, from the afront you were making (which once again was > subtle) that's what were talkin bout: time spent at the art in training, developing, teaching, learning, etc/vs. in Kenpo using it as a platform or even a power base. Close enough for ya. But I wouldn't do it. Not out of fear of retribution or to a point even respect (which is well earned but not the point), but cause that sort of thing doesn't matter. I'd tell ya why but you won't get it; and it's my floor so I'll do what I wanna, and I'm not tellin. Naahh.
Now you can go on playin this little "question authority" card game however you want, and that may work out for you. But me thinks you may wanna use some o that introspection ya been preachin on your own actions on the board here; ie: "even if I'm right, is this really a good way to go about it?"
And since we are quoting stuff:
The loudest boos often come from those given the free seats.
