What the hell does that mean anyway?
No Gary, you're right. Charity does begin at home. These days you can't get all syrupy over biblical type mandates about loving your neighbor. Worse than that are the folks that go around stating publicly that they subscribe to these mandates. Mean while they're tapping their foot in the bathroom stall next to you. Most times it seams the only reason we have friends or leave the house is to get up a wrung on Maslow's hierarchy of needs. Yup, sad.
That said, hard work of any kind will develop the kind of character in an individual that will allow them to avoid becoming part of the problem. Practicing a martial art can also provide the confidence one needs to do something about what's wrong out there. Can't completely concede defeat in that or what do you tell your kids?
CT
but that's just my opinion I could be wrong.
