Yeah, I didn't think that would be easy to figure out.
If you do short 3, first side, then add a second side at the end, it would be the only technique-based form of its kind. If you do each technique in the form and then do the mirror, you pretty much have long 3 so what would be the point?
To me, it seems that doing a second side of short three is pointless because we already have long 3.
On the other hand, I've done some strange exercises, like short or long 1 backwards, short 2 in reverse order, etc. You discover a few things when you do that. Since there is already a long 3, I'm not sure what you would discover by doing the mirror of short 3.
