I'm not sure that the parry in Snaking Talon would be effective at cancelling or redirecting the forward momentum from your attacker. And if it did, they would probably move past you to make the second parry impossible. It may come down to the type of push. Is it a driving push like Encounter with Danger, or is it more of quick shove (without much body weight behing it)? Once you leave the ideal phase you are free to do what comes natural (through experience and training) and hopefully you will come up with the best solution.
Maybe you could/would do snapping twig, twin kimono, circling destruction. Or flashing mace on the other side...or how about aggressive twins...
