I prefer "Variation 3" -- if there was one:
- Right front snap kick to the groin.
- Plant right foot (toward 10).
- Left snapping knife-edge kick to the inside of the left knee.
...only because I'm a lefty. (I still have to think -- sometimes thinking twice -- when getting into most stances, since it just feels "unnatural" to me.)
Of course, "Variation 3" would only work against a left-handed attacker...of which there are what, 12 in the whole world?? (I think lefties are naturally nonviolent....well, except maybe Oscar De La Hoya and Manny Pacquiao. (Big-ups to Lil' Man, my fellow Filipino.))
Out of curiosity, are there any techniques that are left ("weak side") dominant (besides maybe Crossing Talon)? You know, just in case I find myself attacking the attack of a fellow southpaw?
Anyhow, great thread.
