Response to What science is...
Thank you for reminding me what the scientific method entails. I guess I missed that day while I was earning my graduate degrees (yes "degrees", as in multiple graduate degrees).
If you read my post I clearly stated that I didn't know if Dr. Amen's theories were valid and that time and evidence by experts in the field would be the determining factor. (Hey, kind of like the scientific method!) My point was that I didn't feel that you were qualified to pass judgment, and I still don't.
In fact if you read Mr. White's original post he was talking about how we need to be careful about head contact and brain trauma. He also talked about the mental benefits to studying Kenpo. Nowhere did anybody endorse or validate Dr. Amen's theories.
As usual you missed the point and made condescending comments, but that is par for the course. I personally feel you owe Mrs. White an apology but doubt you will offer one.
On another topic, you previously stated (August 2008 on Americankenpoforum) that you could probably teach Bob White's students about power and stances. One of my roles at BWKS is to organize seminars and bring in guest instructors. Would you be interested in teaching a seminar at our school? I'm sure all our students could benefit from your instruction on stances and power. I can only imagine how much more successful our stable of champion fighters would be if they only had power. Please let me know if you are interested and we can work out the details.
