Response to Finger Set

As many are aware, the Finger Set was originally called the Poke Set. After all these years, it's interesting to see that the basic moves haven't changed, although the performance has - to one degree or another, depending on who is observing.

If I would to offer a suggestion to this kenpoist, it would be to study this video with regard to directing his strikes to the their imaginary intended targets. For example, near the end, the simultaneous strikes to the front attacker's face/then groin and rear attacker's groin. These two sets of two simultaneoulsy delivered strikes are not on the centerline, which they should be. Many other strikes aren't directed at their imaginary targets.

This kenpoists isn't alone. I've watched other videos posted on the Kenponet wherein the person is clearly is not delivering strikes to his center when they should be.

Secondly, many of these strikes were delivered with a whipping motion. And is appears that the "slicing" fingers to the eyes is no longer. Perhaps these things have changed.

Salute
