| Imagine that what you say is true - that Mr. Parker purposely inserted nonsense techniques into the system to find out who was paying attention and who wasn't - keeping in mind that he would have done this in the early stages of the development of Kenpo - and its acceptance as an American martial art, which at that time was outside the "established box." If the intentional insertion of these nonsense techniques were true, it would follow that Mr. Parker would have put the credibility of his art to those outside kenpo at risk, which in my view he would never have done. One doesn't have to set traps for non-thinking students. In time these folks ultimately cause their own undoing.
