Response to Re: David

Hi David,

I was a carpenter at a young age, my Dad, Uncle, Cousins were all in the various trades. My Brother and his sons are/were in the trades, as well as my son.

When I got out of the Corps (oceanside CA) went into the Carpenter apprentice program (1963 tri city area) Became a Journeyman carpenter. Was a number one card, in the movie studios also...Did not become a LEO until 1967...Born in 41.

I have been in the trades all the time before during and after retirement, from LEO. Still do it, all the time. Went back into the union (allowed it to lapse while a LEO) after retirement from LEO.

Built numerous homes for myself and other relatives. What I did for a living. I am fortunate to know most of the trades, now. Other family members are into Heating and Air, which is very good trade.

Carpentry, my first love. I passed those skills to my sons, also.

Like I have said at other locations, I helped build the Apartment, I and my brother now own (inheritance) 1958...
