Response to Perspective and reality

The reason I am posting is, watched the fight last night UFC 126... Simple front kick to the jaw did the trick, fight between Vitor and Anderson...

Who would have thought that particular move (very stunning) would have ended the fight??? Many to be honest, who have seen similar only in other locations, when good hard contact happens...Sort of like the Muay Thai knee strike that is considered very devestating...Silva uses it masterfully...

To me that is elementary Kenpo practice makes perfect, but you have to do it and other strikes to a bag over and over and over...

Where training by your lonesome comes in, and dedication that can not be learned in a few hours a week in a classroom...

So ultimatly it is not the instructor but the student and his own desire...

It is mentioned that kick was one Steven Seagal suggested...Hmmm Learned long ago... wink.gif
