your body does move naturally with what your doing. I guess time helps you become aware of these things and focus on them. When you first learn a punch, it's a punch. Then you learn it's not just a punch. And then after a while, after you've worked and engrained those mechanics, it becomes just a punch again.
You can always look at how your body is moving and then focus on an area. Right now i'm working on my forward bow. It's not that I don't know how to do it. It's that when your hitting things really hard your mind becomes one track a little bit. Having done it repetitively is still bringing out the motion. But i'll look down at times and my rear leg didn't make the whole rotation.
