Once again, the whole rank crap. Fred, these guys are fools. If they were promoted by those people, depends on what they were promoted in. If they were promoted to 5th in EPAK from these GM's then it is a fraud and false advertising.
My question is, are they any good? Can they fight? Are they good teachers?
Personally rank can kiss my butt, nowadays. The only two belts that mean anything to me are white belt and black belt. If you make it to black, you better live like a black belt and look the part in some way, in my view. I don't care about all the degrees of black because they are too many clowns out there with 5th degrees and higher who look worse than many of the purple and blue belts I have seen.
I am a white belt in Joe Lewis Fighting Systems. Been training in it since 2004. I'm not bragging, but I'm a pretty good white belt.
I am a white belt in Gracie Barra Jiu-Jitsu and have three years of experience. I'm not a bad white belt, once again.
I don't want rank. I've earned my black belt in one system and that is good enough for me. I will remain a white belt in all the other systems I have had experience in.
PS. I still train in Joe Lewis Fighting Systems, and Gracie Barra Jiu-Jitsu. I don't do the Jiu-Jitsu as much as I used to, though. My focus will always be Kenpo and boxing, and there is no rank in boxing THANK GOD.
